How long until we are live?
Essential is usually four to six weeks from the kickoff call. Pro runs six to ten, depending on how much data has to come across and how many people need training. You get the date in writing, with the quote, before anything starts.
Do we have to change how we work?
Only where the way you work today is costing you money. That is what the first conversation is for: telling apart the process that is genuinely yours — which Odoo bends to fit — from the workaround somebody invented to survive a tool you had already outgrown, which simply stops being necessary.
What happens to the data we already have?
It comes with you. Customers, vendors, products, stock counts and open balances are migrated and reconciled before you go live, so day one starts with your real numbers. Your old system and your spreadsheets stay exactly where they are — we never take away a source you still depend on.
What does Odoo itself cost, on top of your fee?
Odoo licences are billed by Odoo, per user, and are separate from what you pay us. We size them with you during the consultation, so you know the monthly running cost before you commit to anything — not after.
We only need one part of it. Is that a problem?
No — that is how most companies start. One app, the one that hurts the most, done properly. Because every Odoo app is built to talk to the next, adding the second one a year later is a decision, not another migration.
And after we go live?
We stay. Go-live is when the real questions start arriving, so support and adjustments are part of every package. When the business changes shape again — and it will — we bend the system again.
